November 2011 Monthly Wrap-Up

 

Musical goal: Final Fantasy and other 8-bit influenced stuff

Technical goal: At this point, gotta have great mixes

 

Chrono Trigger is coming out for iPhone and iPad in just a couple weeks. To celebrate, I wrote four Square Enix-esque tunes!

 

Week #44: Final Fantasy I: Exploration. Wandering around the lush green overworld.

 

Week #45: Final Fantasy II: Boss Battle. All the tropes and cliches of the real 8-bit thing.

 

Week #46: Final Fantasy III: Resurrection. You had to die to advance the plot. Welcome to the afterlife.

 

Week #47: Final Fantasy IV: Revelation. The hero returns. The heroine is won. The world is saved... but at great cost.

 

Week #48: Wow, just one month left! This is a preview of the kind of stuff I'll be doing in my final month. Electronic. Abstract. Odd time. I dig the way this track turned out.

 

Plan for December: Finish strong. STRONG.
